Nick Orsi
Head Coach
Nick Orsi enters his third season as head coach of the Yarmouth Clippers, continuing to build a program that has quickly established itself as one of the top teams in Maine eight-man football. Last season, Orsi led the Clippers to a 7–1 record as Yarmouth finished among the league leaders in several offensive categories, including scoring and passing. The Clippers' high-powered passing attack also rewrote the Yarmouth record book, setting new school marks for passing and receiving production. Following the season, Orsi was named the Eight-Man Large School South Coach of the Year. Known for his innovative, high-flying passing attack, Orsi's offenses have consistently produced record-setting results throughout his coaching career. His offensive systems have broken school records at multiple stops while developing quarterbacks and skill players into some of the most productive players in their respective leagues. Before returning to Yarmouth as head coach, Orsi served as the offensive coordinator at Brunswick High School. During his time with the Dragons, Brunswick developed one of the state's most productive offenses, leading the league in scoring and passing, setting numerous school offensive records, and advancing to the state semifinals. Orsi's first coaching stint at Yarmouth came as an assistant and quarterbacks coach. During those two seasons, he was part of a dramatic turnaround that saw the Clippers go from a one-win season to capturing the 2022 State Championship.
Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Orsi grew up playing quarterback and went on to briefly play Division III college football before transferring to and graduating from the University of Iowa. His playing background and experience coaching quarterbacks and offenses have helped shape an aggressive, fast-paced offensive philosophy centered around putting players in positions to succeed. Away from football, Orsi is a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and enjoys golf, pickleball, and working out. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia, who serves as Yarmouth's JV tennis coach, and their two children, Margaret and Tommy. The Orsi family also includes their dogs, Clooney and the newest addition—and appropriately named—Clipper. Orsi is proud to lead the Yarmouth Football program and remains focused on building a championship culture centered around effort, toughness, accountability, and representing Yarmouth the right way—on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community.
Coach Jason grew up in Waterville and attended Colby College where he captained the basketball team and earned All-New England honors in football. Jason works as a trial and injury lawyer and lives in Yarmouth with his wife Heather and their 4 children. Jason has enjoyed coaching youth football and basketball for several years.
Jason Jabar
Assistant Varsity Coach
Coach Micah coaches the offensive and defensive lines, as well as, calling the defense for Yarmouth High School. He is entering his fifth year coaching tackle football at Yarmouth across youth, middle school, and high school programs. Micah is focused on advancing the adoption of blocking and tackling fundamentals to improve safety and performance, and helping players develop the confidence and skills to play the game with freedom and intensity. Micah grew up in Brunswick and Harpswell and played football, hockey, and lacrosse at Brunswick High School, where he was a two time all-state tackle and lacrosse goalie. He attended Brown University where he played defensive line and end. He works in the investment industry and lives in Yarmouth with his wife, Tenley, and three children. Micah also coaches hockey and in his spare time enjoys fishing, offshore sailing, and dreaming up new conditioning drills.

Micah Davis
Coach Cus grew up in Belle Glade, Fl and attended football powerhouse Glades Central HS. The school has produced several NFL standouts over the years. Cus is entering his 3rd season as varsity quarterbacks coach for the Clippers after spending two years as head football coach at Harrison MS where he led the 2025 team to an impressive 7-0 record. He attended Morrisville State College where he was team captain and led the Mustangs to their first Northeast Football Conference Championship in the modern era. Cus set several school passing yardage and TD’s records. He was named first team All Conference and Honorable Mention NJCAA All American during his time at Morrisville State College. He was inducted into the Morrisville State College Wall of Fame in 2007. Cus attended Morgan State University after graduating from Morrisville State College where he went on to become the starting quarterback for the Bears. Patterson started his coaching career at Leon HS in Tallahassee, Fl before moving to the collegiate level where he coached at Central Connecticut University, Fordham University, Wagner College, Bates College, and University of Rhode Island. Cus spent several years at the collegiate level where he helped several FCS programs claim Conference Championships and appeared weekly on the associated press FCS Top 25 ranking. Several of Cus’s recruits and players have earned All Conference, All New England, and All American Recognition. Many of his former QB's and WR's went on to break their school’s passing and receiving records under Cus's tutelage. His players have been just as successful in the classroom as they are on the grid iron. Several of his former players received academic honors from the prestigious Hampshire Honor Society, comprising college football players from all divisions of play who maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their career. Also, his players appeared regularly on the Dean’s list and conference All Academic teams. Cus has helped over three dozen of his former players reach the professional level in the NFL, CFL, and UFL. During his coaching career Cus has gained professional coaching experience, first participating in the NFL Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship with the NY Giants coaching QB's and WR's, and then serving as guest coach with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. In 2021 he participated in NCAA-NFL Coaches Academy. Cus works for Lewiston Public Schools where he serves as Dean of Students and Social-Emotional Health Specialist for the district. In 2014, he attained his Master Degree in Education from Wagner College.
Custavious Patterson
Assistant Varsity Coach
Coach Dan and his family have been in Yarmouth for the last 8 years. Prior to coming to Maine, they lived in Cincinnati, where Dan was a captain of a nationally ranked high school team and then helped coach for several years at Archbishop Moeller High School. Moeller is a signature high school program amassing multiple state and national titles over the last several decades. Dan has coached LB, RB, and TE and also oversaw scouting throughout his coaching experiences. He is excited to rejoin the Yarmouth coaching staff after last helping coach Yarmouth's 2022 State Championship team. Dan is married to Melanie. They have 3 children (Katrina, Addison, and Isaiah) and a granddaughter (Mira).
